It is amazing how well Simon is feeling. He worked today and is doing a bit more this evening. He said he gets waves of nausea but the work distracts him enough. He is getting a triple dose now of the drugs for his hands, so he doesn't feel pain in them, just the numbness. One of Carolyn's friends had the same thing with her hands after an operation and I think she said it took a few months to go, but it did.

A nurse was telling Simon how shocked she was at how little the chemotherapy seems to be affecting him. Everyone reacts differently, but she said that even with the anti nausea drugs people still vomit and feel so terrible and certainly wouldn't be able to work. We feel very, very blessed.
